As part of our 215th anniversary celebrations, we’re inviting local Hawick families to:
- name the newly refurbished service room in our Weensland Road funeral home and;
- join us at our first Open Day on 6 November.

Have you ever wondered what’s behind the doors of the town’s oldest funeral home? Now’s your chance to have a full access tour of our funeral home following a significant refit including the mortuary which was also upgraded last year. See for yourselves the highest quality facilities available for Hawick families when they need it the most.
We’ll be dedicating the building at noon at which the winning name for our service room will be officially announced – and we hope to have the winner there too. A pizza van @six-square-slice, kids activities, free tea and coffee are just some of the reasons to pop in on Saturday 6 November between 10 and 1pm.
Naming Competition
Launched last week, our naming competition invites nominations from the town to give our new-look service room a name. Votes are unlimited and should be sent to [email protected] by noon on 3 November 2021. From local landmarks, people of significance, legends – we’re inviting Teri families to influence a legacy for generations to come.
£215 from us
2021 is our 215th year of serving the local area and to mark this, we’re also taking £215 off all prepayment funeral plans taken out during November and December 2021.
